How to Use Time Stamped Notes

A guide for Time Stamped Notes

Written by Whitney Acoff

Time Stamped Notes make it easier to navigate your notes and return to a specific part of your recorded lecture without scrolling through the entire recording. Here’s how to use this feature:

1. Start recording your lecture in Jamworks.

2. Type your own notes while the lecture is being recorded using the 'typed notes' feature.

3. Once the recording is finished, open the recording in your Jamworks account.

4. Find your typed notes in the 'Notes' tab.

5. Select the Time Stamped Notes button, which is the second icon down in the toolbar on the right and side of your notes.

6. Once selected, each word in your notes will be highlighted, and linked to the specific time stamp from the class of when you took each note.

7. Select any word in your notes to jump directly to that specific point in the recorded lecture.
