What is the Jam AI Assistant?

The Jam AI Assistant is your on-demand learning companion built directly into Jamworks, helping you interact with your recorded content.

It can:

  • Summarise recordings and key moments

  • Generate questions and answers for revision

  • Provide definitions and explanations

  • Help you study specific topics from your recordings

  • Generate flashcards, quizzes, and study notes

How to Access the Jam AI Assistant

  1. Log into Jamworks

    • Go to jamworks.com or open the Jamworks app.

    • Sign in with your student account, email, or institutional login.

  2. Choose or Create a Recording

    • Select an existing recording or start a new one.

    • Once it’s processed, Jamworks will break it down and identify prevalent topics.

  3. Launch the Jam AI Assistant

    • Jamworks AI Assistant is located on the right of the media player.

    • Here you can type specific questions into the chat box or select existing prompts such as “Quiz me” or “Simplify”.

What Can I Ask the Jam AI Assistant?

You can type questions like:

  • “Summarise this lecture in 3 bullet points.”
