create an API client in your Panopto account to be used by Jamworks

add your Panopto API client credentials to your Jamworks account

Login to your Panopto account

Click on your avatar in the top right and tap on "User settings"

In your user settings please proceed to API Client

You'll see no existing API clients there. We'll ask you to create one. To do it please click "Create a new API Client" button.

You'll see the new API Client form opened:

Please fill the form with the following data:

a) Client name = Jamworks

b) Client Type = Server-side Web Application (will be selected automatically)

c) CORS Origin URL = https://app.jamworks.com/

d) Redirect URL = https://app.jamworks.com/user/integration/panopto/code

Click "Create API Client" button and don't close the window! You'll need to copy the data from it to Jamworks.

Login to your Jamworks Account at https://app.jamworks.com/

Click your name or avatar in the top right https://app.jamworks.com/user/profile

Scroll down the page to connect to Panopto section

Click to Synchronize with Panopto

Fill the form with the following data:

a) host can be fetched from your panopto account url. If your homepage has an url of https://jamworks.cloud.panopto.eu/Panopto/Pages/Home.aspx, your host will be https://jamworks.cloud.panopto.eu

b) Client ID should be copied from your recently created Panopto API Client details window

c) Client Secret should be copied from your recently created Panopto API Client details window

Click "Synchronize" and see yourzelf beeing redirected to your panopto account, and back to you profile page on jamworks

You can scroll down to the Panopto section on Profile page to see that your accounts have been linked!

Please proceed to the recordings list to see that the recordings sync has started. Depending on the number of recordings it may take from 15 minutes to several hours to sync your content and get all AI materials generated for them.
