How to Customise Fonts, Colours, Links and Highlights in Jamworks

Make your notes work for you with Jamworks' powerful customisation features. Whether you're organising notes or reviewing key points, personalising your study materials can boost focus and memory retention.

1. Customise Font Types & Text Colours

You can adjust the way your notes look to suit your reading style or aesthetic.

To change font type:

  1. Open your notes or key points.

  2. Highlight the text you would like to customise

  3. A toolbar will appear with your options.

  4. Browse the font library and select your preferred font (e.g.,comic sans, Arial, Times New Roman).

  5. Changes will apply instantly to the selected content.

To change text colour:

  1. Highlight the text you want to change.

  2. A toolbar will appear with your options.

  3. Choose a colour from the preset palette.

  4. The text will update with your chosen colour - great for marking important sections!

2. Customise Reading Highlights

Highlighting helps you focus on what's important.

To highlight text:

  1. Highlight the text you want to change.

  2. A toolbar will appear with your options.

  3. Choose a colour from the preset palette.

  4. The text will update with your chosen colour!


3. Link to important reading and articles

You can link notes in Jamworks to external content by following these quick steps:

  1. Highlight the text you want to link

  2. A toolbar will appear with your options

  3. Click the link icon

  4. Another box will appear where you can enter the URL to the content you would like to link.

  5. Once the URL is entered, click "save" and the selected text will turn blue and become underlined. This indicates that the text is now linked.

Tips & Tricks

  • Use different highlight colours for different types of content

  • You can re-highlight or remove highlights at any time by reselecting the text.

With these tools, your Jamworks notes become a flexible, personalised learning space - whether you're colour-coding for clarity or choosing fonts that help you read more easily.
